Kevin and Katrina Parkinson are the Owners/Operators of KPSOUND, a comprehensive audio engineering service provider with over thirty years of experience. 
KPSOUND rehearsal studio, located in Plantsville (Southington), CT is quickly becoming central Connecticut's premier full service music rehearsal space. The 18 x 20 room houses a full PA and can accommodate performing groups of all genres and styles. Rock bands, small chamber ensembles and choral groups are welcome. Your rehearsal space will be set up to meet your needs, and an engineer is always onsite.

Kevin Parkinson began his audio engineering career in 1986 with Connecticut-based Concert Technology Group.  He became the Chief Sound Engineer for famed concert venue The Sting in New Britain, CT where he worked with hundreds of national acts including B.B.King, Kenny Wayne Shepard, Joe Bonamassa, L.A. Guns, Warrant, Vince Neil, Slaughter, Pantera and so many more. Kevin was there until the venue closed its doors in 1997.  For the next several years, he began touring with national acts in the Las Vegas area mixing in venues such as The ExCalibur and The Hilton. When he wasn't touring, he was providing sound engineering services through his own company, KPSOUND, which became synonymous with quality service and exceptional sound support throughout the central CT area. Kevin has also provided sound engineering services to MGM Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, CT where national acts perform on a regular basis. Connecticut venues have utilized Kevin's vast knowledge of live sound engineering to make their shows run smoothly and efficiently. His ability to provide a quality sound mix in all venues for many genres of music has earned him great respect and notoriety within the regional music community. Most recently, he has been on national tours with House of Lords. His travels covered over twenty countries in Europe including The Hard Rock Cafe in Germany and also one show in Japan's Loud Park Festival.
